Hira Shrestha’s family

Hira Shrestha’s husband has gone missing. The family owns a small parcel of land on which it grows rice and vegetables for its own consumption. They all live in one room, in extreme poverty, and when we first met them, their only means of cooking was on a fireplace.

The Tara Namaste Foundation has provided the family with new kitchen appliances, supports both of the children financially and is working to provide it with a new home.
